About the Day:
I was so happy that Lindsey and Rich trusted me that taking the time to do these golden hour mountain portraits would be so so worth it. Fortunately the coordinator at Owl’s Nest got us to this spot and back super quickly too! I’m obsessed with the warm light hitting the tall grasses.
Golden hour is such a special time for photos – they take on a totally different quality, and create the most a dreamy, romantic glow. Knowing just where to position the couple and aim my lens is the result of years of practice! Getting all those angles just right really makes a difference for portraits like these, with just the right amount of sunlight filtering into the lens at the edges of the frame.
