About the Couple:

When asked about the vibe they were going for for their day and wedding photography, Katie & Brett said

We are not “over-the-top” people and are pretty easy going, so we are hoping for a chill and relaxed vibe.

When they thought about looking back on their wedding photos, they were most excited about candids of guests and the wedding party. Some intimate portraits of just the two of them was also a high priority.

About the Day:

The Barn at Bull Meadow is just a ten minute drive from my house, so I was super excited to photograph my first wedding at this beautiful venue! The grounds are lush and well maintained, so finding spots for photos couldn’t be easier. You don’t have to go far to have some gorgeous meadow backdrops.

My favorite part of Katie & Brett’s wedding day was definitely the golden hour portraits–it was a busy, go-go-go day, and this 15 minutes felt very quiet and relaxing. I knew that was important for them to experience on their wedding day, so it was nice to sneak them out during dinner and have that intimate couple time for a few minutes.
